The Rosehip Exfoliator is great for all skin types. It can be especially helpful for those with sensitive and oily skin, as well as skin prone to acne and rosacea. This product can also be applied after shaving to help with inflamed hair follicles.

This exfoliating and clarifying masque gently removes impurities while soothing the skin. Lactic acid helps to loosen dead skin cells and encourage new cell growth, while the Rosehip works to protect and calm the skin.

To use, 1-2 x week, apply a thin layer to your skin after cleansing and leave on for 10-15 minutes.  Remember, that with ilike products, a little bit goes a long way!

Active Ingredients:

Rosehip: Also called rose haw, is typically red to orange in color but may be dark purple to black in some species. Rosehips contain Vitamins A, D and E, and antioxidant flavonoids. The fruit of rosehip is astringent, and the oil of ht fruit is an emollient and skin conditioner. Due to its beneficial active ingredients, rosehip is highly effective in treating sensitive, irritated skin that is prone to rosacea and acne.

Corn Meal: For oily, acne prone and combination skin. Corn meal hydrates while it also firms the skin.

Corn Germ Oil: Helps with emulsification and also delivers oxygen to the skin. Because of its small molecule structure it helps to carry vitamins deeper into the skin.

Lemon Balm: There is a high presence of antioxidants in lemon balm, which offer protection for the body’s cells from oxidation, a chemical process causing damage to the cells. It has antiviral and fungicidal effects. Its essential oil has refreshing, toning, anti-inflammatory properties, soothes sensitive skin and has relaxing and soothing effects as an aromatherapy ingredient.

Lactic Acid: A pH adjusting ingredient, and also is used as a preservative, antioxidant and for control of pathogenic microorganisms.

Zinc Sulphate: Works as an astringent.

Vitamin C: A highly effective antioxidant, acting to lessen oxidative stress.

Vitamin E: Has anti aging effects, both taken orally and applied on the skin. It is also the main oil of the skin so it aids in healing.

Zinc Oxide: Absorbs both UVA and UVB rays of ultraviolet light, zinc oxide can be used in ointments, creams, and lotions to protect against sunburn and other damage to the skin caused by ultraviolet light. Additionally, zinc oxide has antimicrobial and antifungal activities.
