Lydia began her salon and spa career by studying Cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in New York City. While working at a salon in Manhattan, she realized what she loved most about her job was getting to know the clients and interacting with spa guests throughout the day. Upon relocating to Portland, she decided to switch gears and pursue her interest in the business and management side of the spa industry. A lucky chance encounter connected her with Zama's owner, Genevra, and she diligently proved herself and worked her way into Front Desk Management. Lydia loves being a part of the Zama team, where she makes every effort to be the first point of connection and relaxation for each and every guest. When she's not giving to Zama's guests, Lydia loves everything outdoors. She wanders around new places, takes long walks, and is almost always dreaming of being at the beach.
