When given the honor, we shine the honor back full force. Our first ever Yelp Gold Elite Holistic House Party felt like a huge magical success! We shined every corner of our business and gave all our guests the full Zama experience in decked-out, gorgeous, house party fashion. The Yelp review board is lit up with the best ever raves! Before we share them, we want to first highlight our incredible partners.
Balboa Winery, of Walla Walla, WA, poured up some incredible vintages. Our guests have been raving about how well the wine went with locally made, delicious and vegan Missionary Chocolates. The Meadow delighted our crowd with their oh-so-tasty Himalayan salts, salt blocks, which they paired with cucumbers. Thank you Balboa, Missionary Chocolate, and the Meadow! Your businesses are a true delight and we were honored to share your goods.
Our staff, OUR STAFF!, thank you for rolling out the red carpet and giving the Yelp Gold Elite insiders your amazing treatments! You are the magic of Zama and you provided the best experiences and treatments to our guests. Thank you!
Okay, now for the raves! We have received so much incredible feedback. Here are a few highlights:
From Kiki R:
"Oh my, if I didn't feel like a super badass elite before attending this event I certainly do now!
Let's see, key points:
-The staff were all very helpful, sweet and approachable.
-I LOVED the salt cave and am super excited to be getting an upcoming massage there!
-My brows are now gorgeous!
-It was so nice to have Missionary Chocolates (go badass NCNM alum!) and The Meadow (must go buy salt slab NOW) there.
-Loved the wine and was so excited to find a bottle of rose in my AMAZING goodie bag.
-Not only was I so spoiled tonight but now I have an upcoming spa visit at a kick-ass price in my future.
This was such a lovely event and a wonderful way to be introduced to this beautiful spa with a diverse variety of services. Thank you!!!"
From Amanda K:
"DOPEST SWAG BAG TO EVER BE GIVEN AWAY AT A YELP EVENT. EVER.
Well, at least any that I've ever been to. What a fabulous staff! Fabulous facilities! Fabulous vendors! This, in my opinion, was one of the more successful Yelp parties in recent memory. There was a nice flow of activities, and everyone was glowing and stoked to be there.
I've been wanting to check out Zama for awhile, as I like to keep my finger on the pulse of successful spa work around town. The girls here have it dialed IN. Staff is highly educated and knowledgable about the spa and services they offer. Direct eye contact and smiles go a long way when you're creating one giant first impression on a very informed group--and the staff at Zama did exactly that.
Bravo!! Matt, you're the man. Now I'm going to go crack this beautiful bottle of rosé I found in my swag bag. Swaaaaaaaaag."

"Dang, it's good to be PDXElite! This is my first year as Gold and my first Gold Elite event and I'm afraid to say that the bar may be set TOO high for all further events 😀
What a fabulous night! Massages, facials, chocolate, and wine! What more could a girl ask for?? We arrived at 7 and were given our assigned massage time (I was in the Jade room with Michael - ha! sounds almost like 'who dunnit' in Clue!) He was fabulous and worked out all the kinks in my upper shoulders.
I also had the opportunity to try the hydrofacial in the salt room. Not only was being in the salt room an experience in and of itself, but getting some exfoliation with soothing oils was just the icing on the cake!
Then of course we tried the heavenly Missionary Chocolates (just what the doctor ordered!) and Balboa wines - ironically owned by the sister of the woman who owns Zama #girlpower! We also had some tasty salty snacks courtesy of The Meadow. Combined with cheese, veggie, and cracker platters, I was so happy!
Zama itself looks like it is set up in an old residential house with lots of twists and turns, rooms, and cozy dark spaces. It made it a bit difficult for a good flow through the house (lots of lines for waxing, facials, and wine), but it was well done given the space constraints.
And holy moly with the gift bag! I got to take home some pieces of the spa, wine, and chocolate so I can recreate my own Yelp Elite event at home!! This time, however, I don't think I'll invite a +1 because I want to eat all that yummy goodness myself 🙂 bravo!"
