  1. Portland, OR (April 21, 2014) Brian Marki Fine Art and Framing announces its next Portland exhibition, featuring artists Robert Gamblin and Jason Bradbury on Friday, May 2, from 5:00 – 8:00pm.

Robert Gamblin brings his Inner Southeast Portland inspired paintings interpreting the landscape with his immense historically based color theory brought up to date for the here and now.

Gamblin says of his work, “I’ve chosen to paint the landscape because we have easy access to it. Not only in the sense that it is always there waiting to be painted, but also because we share an appreciation for the beauty of the light on the land.”

Also featured in the show will be Jason Bradbury, who paints abstract organic forms suspended in a rich atmosphere melding time and space, “where there are no clocks and the ground may not be there.”

The exhibition opens Friday, May 2, 5 to 8pm at 2236 NE Broadway St, Portland Oregon. The exhibition runs through June 12, 2014.

Brian Marki Fine Art and Framing is celebrating its twentieth year on NE Broadway offering original paintings by award winning artists and specialized in high quality archival fine art framing services.

As a long-time Northwest gallerist and fine art framer, Marki represents both International and American artists, including the late Italian artist Sandro Negri, American landscape artist Scott Gellatly, abstract artist Gordon Marshall, Jason Bradbury and a host of others.

In addition to his Portland space, Marki opened a new gallery in downtown Palm Springs, California on February 1 this year. The new gallery is located at 170 East Arenas Road in the historic La Plaza District.

Marki is excited about this new artistic mission. “I love the opportunity to bring additional depth to the Palm Springs area’s revitalizing fine art scene. And with a full-service framing facility on-site, we are adding an important art service to the region.”
